Course Description:

You are an agent and someone approaches you to list their deceased parent’s property – can they sign a Listing Agreement? Your clients are divorced and have a house to sell, what if one spouse won’t sign the contract – what do you do? An investor has a contract to buy a property & wants to sell or assign the contract – can you list the property yet? When working with an LLC, how do you know that the person with whom you are dealing may engage the company in business? What contract forms may I use before a person has signing authority & how do they sign after they have signing authority? This course introduces Real Estate Agents to the contractual and legal issues of these scenarios with respect to the listing and sale of real property in Georgia.
